Good erectile function may vary from one man

Good erectile function may vary from one man to another due to the psychological and physical stimulation in the body, of which the signal is then sent to the nervous system of the body. The body's nervous system in return reacts to the stimulations and releases chemicals such as Nitric oxide into the male reproductive organ to create blood vessels which passes through the penile area continuously to help a man attain erection. The disruption during this entire process of transfer of blood to the penile area gives rise to a sexual dysfunction problem in men namely erectile dysfunction or impotence in men. And, men facing the dilemma, embarrassment and problems in sexual life are addressed as impotent men.

In simple terms, Impotency happens when an individual is unable to attain and maintain erection for long until climax. The prime reason of causing impotency in men is due to the insufficient supply of blood to the penile region. The factors that trigger this condition in old as well as young men these days are due to the physical or psychological factors. Psychological factors include emotions such as stress, anxiety, excess fatigue, depression, or displeasure in a relationship. Physical factors that lead to impotence in men are any kind of injury to the spinal cord, or injury in the nerves in the male sex organ due to diseases such as diabetes, blood pressure problems. Some of the other lifestyle changes such as extreme alcohol intake, inappropriate eating pattern are some of the factors that may lead to impotence.

Genital HPV infection

More than 100 different human papillomavirus (HPV) types have been characterized.

Some HPV types cause benign skin warts, or papillomas, for which the virus family is named.

HPVs associated with the development of such "common warts" are transmitted environmentally or by casual skin-to-skin contact.

A separate group of about 30 HPVs are typically transmitted through sexual contact.

Genital HPV infection is very common, with estimates suggesting that up to 75% of women will become infected with one or more of the sexually transmitted HPV types at some point during adulthood.

HPV infection is a necessary factor in the development of nearly all cases of cervical cancer.

Cervical Pap smear testing is used to detect HPV-induced cellular abnormalities.

Allergic rhinitis

Crucial exams take place during adolescence in most societies, which can have a major impact on an individual's career trajectory. In a Guest Editorial appearing in the August issue of Expert Review of Respiratory Medicine, a team of UK experts review the evidence of the disease burden associated with hayfever  and summarize recent evidence suggesting that poorly controlled hayfever can adversely impact on exam performance. Authors Victoria Hammersley and Aziz Sheikh of Edinburgh University's Allergy & Respiratory Research Group together with Samantha Walker of the charity Education for Health draw upon these data to reflect on the question of whether students with hayfever are unfairly disadvantaged by being forced to prepare for and sit examinations during the peak of the pollen season.

Uncontrolled hayfever (also known as seasonal or intermittent allergic rhinitis) can significantly reduce quality of life and interfere with attendance through school absences. There is also some evidence pointing to the fact that exam preparation and performance may be adversely affected by allergic rhinitis, particularly if patients are taking sedating medications.
